Model Contest
What kinda "Model Show" would it be without a model contest? Time to dust off the paints and brushes and "wow" the crowds. We'll have several categories, for all skill levels, and of course, some excellent prizes...Waddya waitin' for? Get to work!!!   [Official Rules & Guidelines]

KB University
Keeping with the tradition of educating as well as entertaining, we are again offering our whole day painting and sculpting classes-Kitbuilders University (Hey, we could't really call it something else at our own show, could we?) These will be held Friday, October 24th, and feature all the great instruction from world class painters and sculptors you've come to expect...

Kitbuilders Challenge
So you've taken the courses, and you've had some time to put your new skills to use...It's time to put your knowledge and skill to the test...

Join a team of fellow modelers, get a box full of stuff, and see what you come up with at the end of the day! Seriously! Each team will receive all the same components to construct a scene, but it's up to them what to do and how they do it!... Once completed, each entry will be placed on display, and judged, with prizes for the winning team(s)... The number of teams and members per team will be determined by the amount of entries... Also, as they are happening at the same time, people participating in the KBU classes October 24th will not be able to do both...

Kitbuilders Costume Contest
Maybe 1/6 scale and smaller figures aren't your thing?... You might like working in bigger scales?... Maybe you just like to dress up like a freak? Doesn't matter to us, but get your best costume ready, and wear it to our Costume Contest... There's a $500 first prize waiting for the one we pick as the winner!!!

Seminars and Demos
Make sure to check out presentations being given by some of our hobby's luminaries sharing their secrets for building, painting and sculpting Garage Kits. These will be held every other hour, both Saturday and Sunday. If scheduling allows, there will also be a panel discussion on the state of our art...

Exhibitions
We've managed to coax the "Bobs" of Dullam/Causey to bring their collected works to display for attendees. If you aren't familiar with their work, check out their site! If you see it there, odds are it will be here, in person! We're also going to be showing some beautiful examples of modeling, done by our writers and other notable artists...

The Darkness
	Rated One of America’s Best Haunted Attractions by USA Today, The Today Show, National Geographic Channel, AOL.com, Fangoria Magazine, and Hauntworld.com

We'll let their site speak for itself, but not before telling you that starting at 5pm Saturday, we'll have a shuttle bus running from our hotel to their facility every half hour until 10pm... Admission for The Darkness (at a reduced rate!) is included with SOME Monstrous Weekend admission packages, or regular full admissions can be purchased there.

Dealers' Room
Now, some of you might be wondering why we put this with the other events... Well, the way we look at it, a well stocked dealer room is an event unto itself! Be sure to save up some cash to spend on kits, toys, comics and other memrobilia, presented by your favorite vendors from around the country and world! Check back often, as we will list dealers as we receive their contracts.

Concert
While the bands have their own page, this is a good place to mention Saturday night's concert! Admission is included with VIP Monstrous Weekend ticket packages, and an extremely limited number will also be available for $20 at the door.
